Elevate Your Ski Performance with Expert Race Prep for the Midwest Junior Nationals Qualifiers
It takes a lot to perform well at the Junior Nationals. Gear West knows that a strong effort begins well before the starting gun, so this year we are offering professional-level race services for every JNQ event in the Midwest region.

Meet Your Technicians
David Chamberlain: Gear West's Service and Nordic Manager has waxed race skis for events both domestic and abroad.
Joe Haggenmiller has waxed skis for the top skiers at Michigan Tech and CXC where he was also the head coach. He is currently the head program director for Terra del Nord in Duluth.

The Details
The JNQ Ski Wax Service will include glide, structure, binder, and kick wax. Skis can be dropped off at our ski tuning shop at Gear West, or with Joe, in Duluth, before race weekend. Arrangements for drop-off at the race venue can also be provided.
The services will be available for:

• Salomon CXC Cup, Duluth, MN - December 13-14
• Salomon CXC Cup, Cable, WI - December 20-21
• Salomon CXC Cup, Mt Itasca, Coleraine, MN - January 17-18
• Salomon CXC Cup, Minneapolis, MN - February 14-15
  

Pre-Race Coaching Included
Friday evenings, prior to each event, David and Joe will provide pre-race coaching and strategy via Zoom. They will give an overview of the course, update on snow conditions, and share insight into every part of the service. They will answer questions and work to accommodate each athlete's specific needs.

Pricing

• $120 for a full weekend - includes skate and classic races
• $375 for all four weekends - applies only for preseason registration
